In This Moment

In this moment
You are the greatest love that I have ever known
Tomorrow I will leave you
And go off in search of my true love
Putting a comforting arm around your shoulder...
As I tear your heart from your chest.
I could never be the man of your dreams, and you could never be my queen
But in this moment
You are the greatest love that I have ever known

I Remember

Sometimes as I marinate
In my cave of deprepitude
Meditating on the bleakness of it all,
I remember the beautiful smiling faces
of women who couldn't save me
Flowers that flourished under my embrace
Before letting them languish, and wilt or die
From boredom or despair

The Colors of The Flowers

The colors of the flowers are so beautiful
This would be the perfect moment to die

Every flower

Every flower is the same
And every flower is different

She came out of the distance
A child of the winter, she smiled and I listened,
for awhile till she drifted...
Her way is one of sweet promises unfilfilled
A smile, a laugh, a chance to build,
A bridge we could never cross,
A tale of two lovers lost,
Comforting and warm like butter sauce,
But disappears without warning like the morning frost

Every flower is different
Her petals make a coward of my wisdom
As she showers and glistens, a powerful vision,
Arousing me to pounce out of the kitchen
Just to touch and taste on her tender tapestry
Clutching the waist of her slender majesty
And loving her in ways that are the subject of fantasy,

But every flower is the same
Whether bouncing in a bouquet
Or swimming through a storm drain
They all seem to wilt and wash away
Leaving me to sit in the calming rain and

Dream of a scene from another song
And believe in a blossom that won't be gone
A perfect nectar to quench my cause

I know that every flower is different
But she left, and I just watched, because..
Every flower is the same

Intoxication

Intensely intoxicating
Dissolving rage and inflaming the heart
The goddess on earth radiates with laughter
Touching her body as though he were grasping at the roots of eternity
Better to burn in the flames than to sit out in the cold
He loses himself in her embrace

Radiance In Death

radiance in death
thought the aging man
as he lay in bed, wrapped in layers of indulgent indolence
moments of decay broken
by occasional unspoken epitaphs
words written from the tomb
drowned out, by the death hammers closet crushing contact
beholding beauty beyond grasp
beyond the grave
the corpse in confinement, kissed the clouds continuously
